    Apex Shift AI is an AI readiness consultancy based in Waterkloof Ridge, Pretoria, serving clients across South Africa. We are committed to protecting your personal information in compliance with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA).

    5. The Free AI Readiness Score Tool

    Our free AI Readiness Score tool can be used anonymously. You enter a website address only — no email address or other contact detail is required to run a scan or to see your result.

    • Anti-abuse: to keep the tool free and available, we apply a short-lived usage limit. This uses a one-way, keyed digest derived from your network address rather than the address itself, is never used to identify or profile you, and is deleted automatically after 7 days.
    • Email My Results: if you choose to have your result emailed to you, we use your email address to deliver that specific result. This is a transactional message you asked for — it does not, on its own, sign you up for marketing or sales follow-up.
    • Optional follow-up: follow-up contact about improving your AI readiness is a separate, optional tick box that is switched off by default. We only add you to our follow-up records, and only contact you about our services, if you tick it. You may withdraw that consent at any time.
    • Scan records: we keep the scanned website address and the resulting scores so we can return recent results without rescanning and improve the assessment.

    6. Analytics and Data Minimisation

    We use website analytics to understand which pages and calls to action work. Our analytics data is deliberately minimised: names, email addresses, phone numbers, scanned website addresses, network addresses and free-text you type are never sent to our analytics provider. Only a strictly limited, pre-approved set of non-identifying fields — such as the page path, the button clicked and a broad score range — is shared, and marketing tracking parameters are the only query parameters retained in an analytics page address.

    7. How We Store and Protect Your Information

    Your personal information is stored securely using industry-standard encryption and security measures. We use secure cloud-based infrastructure with access controls to ensure only authorised personnel can access your data. We retain your information only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this policy.

    8. Sharing of Information

    We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share your information with trusted third-party service providers who assist us in operating our website and delivering our services, subject to strict confidentiality agreements.
